We would love to get back to running a community farm and being part of a fabulous village community again.
We moved to this farm as short term measure 4 yrs ago due to previous property flooding..
On viewing the farm we were offered availability to graze acreage year round grazing
+ 2 barns this has drastically been reduced.
Grazing / barn space is being converted to commercial storage ( pics are available )
We have to buy forage / bedding at farm to feed 365 days as house stock all year
Covid halted plans to relocate or bring in an income.
Totally unsuitable now due to continual noise / dust / machinery and HGVs all day in yards
We have survived with no farm BPS / environment funding ( farmer has £ )
And no income from events due to farm not being safe H&S wise..
Our lease has ended but extended until Autumn 2024
We will lose all what we have inc very rare breeds. This would be devastating for us.
We survived Brexit – 2019 drought – 2019/20 Flooded premises 3 times. 2020/21 Covid

Having leased private properties in neglected state, spent £,time,hard work upgrading to high standard to then be informed lease £ was doubling or given short notice to quit.
We have survived very testing times over the last few years. Ready for the next challenge.
